Room Lists are organizational tools for arranging Rooms in your account. They are only for internal use, they are not presented to the client. There is no “recommended’ way to set up Rooms and Room Lists in Studio Designer. Some designers opt to organize their Room Lists by Client (e.g. SMITH’S ROOMS, BEVERLY’S ROOMS, etc…) and other designers opt to organize their rooms by type (e.g. Residential, Commercial, etc…).
To set up your Room List organizational systems in Studio Designer, simply click Settings and then click on Room Lists.
If you would like to create a new Room List, click on “+New Room List” in the upper right-hand corner.
In this window, input the name of your Room List and click Save. This will create a new Room List in your system.
